Salvation Army Heartland Family Fund - The Salvation Army is committed to helping the families of military personnel who have been deployed in current military actions occurring around the globe. Military families in Nebraska and including the Omaha/Council Bluffs metropolitan area are eligible for funds. The Heartland Family Fund provides utility assistance, food, housing and rent assistance, clothing, prescriptions, emergency needs, baby supplies and support for family enrichment activities. You can help by making a monetary donation online or donations can also be mailed to The Salvation Army, 3612 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE 68131. Military families in need of assistance may call 402.898.5860.
