1/4/2010 SALVATION ARMY TAKING EXTRA MEASURES DURING EXTREME COLD
Warming Sations Open

The Salvation Army is offering relief from the extreme cold at its North Omaha Center, 2424 Pratt Street and The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 2825 Y Street.  Warming stations are open today until 5:00 p.m. at the North Omaha Center and until 9:00 p.m. at the Kroc Center.

Warming stations are open today and will remain open for as long as needed. 

Hours of operation: 
     - North Omaha Center, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
     - The Kroc Center, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.


The Salvation Army is accepting donations of coats, hats, gloves, personal hygiene items, blankets and individually packaged snack food.  These items can be delivered to the Army’s Lied Renaissance Center, 3612 Cuming Street, or dropped off at the North Omaha Center. 

Monetary donations toward the purchase of a these items can be mailed to the Omaha Salvation Army, 3612 Cuming Street, Omaha NE 68131 or made on-line www.givesalvationarmy.org
